This year Art Deco weekend kickoff celebrating 100 years of Miami Beach. Local art organization and promoter of the arts Life is Art will be there to celebrate with the art of local Miami artists on exhibit. The exhibit will be part of Art Deco Weekend’s Life is Art Block.

The Life Is Art Block is located from 11th to 12th Street of Ocean Drive. The Art Deco Weekend Festival is free and open to the public. James Echols, Founding Director of Life Is Art and Soul Of Miami stated, “We are very excited to be working with the Miami Design Preservation League!” Echols continued, “The Art Deco Weekend festival is one of our favorite events of the year and represents the resurrection of Miami Beach and all of Miami as a major force in the 21st Century.” He emphasizes, “We are happy that they have made a serious effort to include local artists and hope other major events follow suit.”
