3-D Color Wheel by Augusto Esquivel
Augusto Esquivel’s new work takes an turn to the abstract. For the most part, up to this date Esquivel’s subject matter has been iconic objects visionally rendered with suspended buttons. His latest work is simply 3-d color wheel. Although ultra simplistic, it is a joy to watch as all his other pieces. Especially successful is the flawless gradient and tradition from colot to color. At first glance of “Symphony” reminded me of Jen Starks’s “Infinite Whole,” and Kandisky’s “Concentric Circles.
