These are the plans for the new Miami Science Museum that will sit right next to the New Miami Art Museum ( or as rumors have it: the Jorge M. Perez Art Museum). The site is where bayfront park use to be and what is now zoned as Museum Park. The plans if realized as seen above are spectacular. I specially love the giant aquarium restaurant. So a standing ovation goes to London-based architectural firm Grimshaw Architects. Grimshaw was founded in London in 1980. The practice now operates worldwide with offices in New York, London and Melbourne, employing more than 200 staff. BTW: It also rumored that this Museum will be have a name changed to The Patricia & Phillip Frost Science Museum because of their $30 million dollar donation to the museum.
